$s_{i,k}$: fraction of component i reporting to product k [0..1]
$k$: product index — top, side, or bottom (one column, three cuts)

Parameters

splits {component: [f_top, f_side, f_bottom]} (each row sums to 1); optional duty [W] — three-product thermally-coupled column (shortcut)
